New Site Feature: North N South
February 25th, 2008
A few months ago, my friend Melissa (”Missa”) emailed me about a cool project called 3191. Two friends take pictures every day and juxtapose them together on a site. Missa and I thought it would be cool to give that a try, though we are only ambitious enough to do one a week initially.
So, here is the first entry:
At Last
July 19th, 2007
I’ve started posting pictures from my vacation earlier this year. Take a look at them by following the photography link in the side bar. I’ve joined flickr as a pro member and decided to start storing my pictures there, going forward. Hosting the pictures from my new camera would take up a lot of space over time, and the conversion utility I was using (dcraw) was hard on the colors, so I decided flickr was the better all-around solution. There will still be a link to my old photos at the bottom of the new page.
Here are a few select ones from the Royal Botanical Gardens:
This rose was perfect. It just looks beautiful.
I was playing with depth of field here. There are a few iterations of this shot, but for some reason I like this one the best.
I love these colors.
This one just makes for an interesting picture. It intrigues my eye.
Please enjoy my pictures. I’ll be posting more soon, since there’s a plugin for Aperture available.
Old-New Pictures
June 17th, 2007
I’ve posted a lot of photos this afternoon. Please enjoy them! There are updates in three albums, but that should be noted on the Gallery page itself. These are mostly from 2005 and 2006, which means they are super-old, but it also means I’ve caught up to this year! Hooray!
Update: I’ve got Spring and Summer 2007 started as well. All that’s left to do are the vacation pictures, which I know everyone is excited to see.
Also, when you click on the photo album, if it has multiple pages, then the arrows actually on the photo will iterate through only the ones on that page. If you want to see the rest in that album, you need to click the “next” link at the top.
