Life As It Comes
Felt Z1006 Comments
I bought a Felt Z100 road bike this weekend as part of The Rookie Package at Jack and Adam’s Bicycles, one of Austin’s triathlon outfitters. Since I can swim in the shorts that came with the package, I’ve got everything I need for the race now, sans running shoes. (I also bought some goggles and new suits a couple weeks back for training/racing.)
My goal to compete in The Austin Triathlon definitely seems more real, now that I have a bike.

he’s like iron man or something all of a sudden. you could buy a bunch of other stuff. you need a cool water proof watch and some sunglasses which are slightly reflective, but still allow some of the pain and determination in your eyes to show through. you probably need to get a tattoo also, and a wipey board to put on your door as you leave in the morning to write inspirational messages (if that’s your thing, otherwise, consider hurtful things which might spar you on to greatness).
also, if you want to go all out, you should probably get some inspirational posters. i’ll put a few together and send them your way for approval.
