Life As It Comes
Grace - Silers Bald3 Comments
My heart is so proud.
My eyes are so unfocused.
I see the things You’ve done through me
As great things I have done.
And now You gently break me.
I cry just like a baby.
You hold me as my Father,
And mold me as my Maker.
And I ask You
How many times will You pick me up,
When I keep on letting You down?
And each time I will fall short of Your glory,
How far will forgiveness aboud?
And You answer, “My child, I love you,
And as long as you’re seeking My face,
You’ll walk in the power of My daily sufficient grace.”
At times I may grow weak.
And feel a bit discouraged.
Knowing that someone, somewhere
Can do a better job.
For who am I to serve You?
I know, I don’t deserve You.
But that’s the part, that burns in my heart,
And keeps me hanging on.
And You are so patient with me, Lord.
As I walk with You, I’m learning
About what Your grace really means.
How all of my transgressions
Were paid at Calvary.
So instead of trying to repay You,
I’m learning to simply obey You.
By giving up my life to You
For all that You’ve given to me.
“My daily sufficient grace.”

I had a productive night last night. I was able to mow, trim, and water - in addition to cleaning my desk and putting together a bookcase.
While I was trimming, my two neighbors in back of my house were outside grilling and caught my attention. They introduced themselves as George and Lorraine. They even introduced me to their two dogs. Lorraine lifted the dachshund up to the fence, so I could “meet” her, and they told their other dog to “say hi.” The dog barked, as if in greeting, upon command.
George and Lorraine were incredibly friendly and asked about the loudness of their dogs and whether they could come over and fix part of the fence sometime. They told me about the other owners and renters surrounding me, and I found out they were from Rhode Island. They have thick accents. Nice folks.

I’ve tried many different wireless cards on my webserver, trying to find one that works well under Ubuntu 6.06.1. After trying several different cards, the one that I finally got to work reliably was the DWL-G132. What does this mean for you? The site will definitely be down less often and updated more frequently.
Here is a list of the others I tried and why they failed:
- DWL-G122 (recognized under ndiswrapper, but would spontaneously quit)
- Linksys WMP54G (was never recognized under ndiswrapper)
- Belkin Wireless G USB Adapter (was never recognized under ndiswrapper)
