Life As It Comes

Sometime in the last few months, my patent application became viewable from the USPTO website:

System and Method for Protecting a Title Key in a Secure Distribution System for Recordable Media Content

I’m one of those Flickr people. I repeatedly refresh that last 7 days interesting page over and over.

I definitely have my favorite all-time shots on the site, and it always makes me want to get a more professional camera.

Would it be interesting to anyone who reads if I post a few favorites every now and then? Keep in mind, these wouldn’t be my photos, but ones I admire. Let me know what you think.

I don’t usually post things like this, but it is very accurate, so here you go. I’ve added a few comments/corrections in brackets.

I’ve moved the site over to a different machine (one that I think will be wireless soon). The transition should be unnoticeable for everyone viewing the site. I’m still working on the LDAP server a little, but other than that, everything should be working fine. Let me know if something is broken for you.

Update: LDAP is working. Also, I meant to mention before that there’s a HUGE difference between how Ubuntu (Debian) and Fedora do httpd configuration files. I’m not sure which I like better, but the translation was a lot of work. I also updated the “About the Site” page.
