Life As It Comes

Today I made my flight reservations for June 3, 2003 for my trip to Austin, Texas to move in. I called Riata to schedule my final lease signing and everything, and I talked to the moving company to find out when my car will be arriving.

But yeah, today I bought a one-way ticket to Austin.

Oh man. My bluetooth adapter came yesterday! It’s so sweet. I plugged it in, went to “System Preferences” and it found my phone and set up iSync to synchronize my data over to the phone. It really was just as easy as they say.

Today, I played around with things a little more and tried out Romeo. Whoa!!!! Is that ever a great wonderful amazing idea! I can control my iBook remotely with my phone and use such applications as iTunes and the DVD Player - all with my phone! It even has a feature where I can use my phone as a mouse on the screen.

I’m one satisfied customer.

Dave went up to Notre Dame yesterday to help Carolyn celebrate her birthday, which is today. Happy Birthday Carolyn!

So, it’s Grand Prix weekend at Purdue. Once again, I won’t be attending the race. For some reason it doesn’t appeal very much to me.

For those who are unaware, Grand Prix is a weekend racing event in which the fraternities and residence halls build go-carts and race. It is also associated with the last Breakfast Club of the year and a whole week of drunkeness.

As for me, I’m going to rest up, get over my flu/food-poisoning, and start studying for math.
